Easy 10 Minute Tiramisu Recipe

Easy 10 Minute Tiramisu Recipe

I was inspired to make this delicious dessert because as I am writing this, I am here at my daughter’s place in Italy to spend time with her. Every restaurant here serves Tiramisu so I thought of making one so I can share with you the recipe. Tiramisu is a coffee-flavored Italian dessert. It is made from ladyfinger biscuits dipped in strong coffee, layered with whipped cream with mascarpone cheese and dusted with cocoa powder. A dessert that is super easy to prepare and so delicious! A perfect make-ahead dessert.

1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup mascarpone cheese, room temperature (to substitute, see below)
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups espresso or strong coffee, room temperature
Ladyfingers biscuits
cocoa powder for dusting (about 1/2 tbsp)

Procedure: (Make sure to read my tips below this page)

Using a large bowl, beat whipping cream, sugar and vanilla extract. until soft peaks form.
Add the mascarpone cheese. Whip until just combined or until stiff peaks form. Do not over beat.
Quickly dip ladyfingers in coffee and place in a pan (I used a 25 x 13 cm). I fit about 10 cookies.
Spread half of the cream mixture on top of the first layer of ladyfingers.
Repeat process with the 2nd layer.
Dust the top of dessert with cocoa powder.
Refrigerate for about 2-5 hours.
Serve and enjoy.
